GENERAL INFORMATION

Covid Protocols:   Tested positive for Covid-19, have possible symptoms, or been recently exposed? - Stay home, until your full quarantine is done.   Thank you for helping to keep everyone healthy.  Masks are always O.K.

Cost:   Discounted Early Registration Rate (through Saturday, March 1)

Full Price (through Sunday, March 16)

Last-Minute (through Thursday, March 20) -  This option is seldom available to students since classes tend to fill early.

STUDENTS

Full conference (both days): $145 / $165 / $185

Saturday only (3 classes)

Level 1:  $65 /$75 / $85

Levels 2 through Majors: 

Sunday only (4 classes)

Levels 2 through Majors: $115 / $135 / $155

TEACHER REFRESHER

Full conference (both days, incl. mtg. & informal meal Saturday): $145 / $165 / $185

Saturday only (observe students all day, plus Refresher class 3:15-4:45 incl. meal & mtg.:  $115 / $135 / $155

Saturday 3:15 Refresher class only, plus mtg. & meal:  $50 / $60 / $70

Sunday only: $115 / $135 / $155


ABOUT THE STUDENT WORKSHOP:  Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23

  • Students may register for one or both days. However, those wishing to be considered for scholarships must attend both days.
  • No parent observers.
  • Arrival and Departure of Students: Parents, this event is being held at a private studio with other ongoing classes and space is limited. Please drop off the students and observe them safely enter on their own, and pick up at end of day outside.  Thank you.
  • Lunch. Bring your own. (Please be careful with drinks - the facility has just installed new rugs!)
  • Required Dancewear:  Simple leotard (no criss-cross backs); ballet tights (convertible tights are recommended for possible contemporary and PBT classes);  ballet slippers (also pointe shoes for upper level students already working on pointe).  Hair in impeccable, tidy ballet style (such as a bun), off the neck and face (no ponytails).  No legwarmers, no shorts, no skirts.  PBT instructor Stacey Raab will be bringing plenty of balls and resistance bands, but you may bring your own if you prefer.

Scholarship Audition Classes for Students. Has the child's ballet teacher recommended participation in a Scholarship Audition Class?   Visit the Student Scholarships page for more information.  You will pay the audition fee within the Student 2-Day Full Conference link below, and you must also complete this scholarship audition form; both are required, no later than March 16, to be eligible.


STUDENT CLASSES REGISTRATION

         Parents of Student Registrants - N.B. -  Before proceeding to registration below, PLEASE

  • Check with your child's teacher regarding correct class level. Later adjustments will not be possible. 
  • Know the first and last name (and correct spelling) of your child's ballet teacher.  Thank you!
  • Remember that you are registering your child, not yourself In order for your child's name to appear correctly on his/her name badge at the conference, the name you type in the initial "Name" field MUST be your child's name, NOT yours!  You will be asked later to confirm the child's name; these two must match.  Your name will be requested a bit lower on the form. Thank you.

ABOUT THE TEACHER REFRESHER:  Sunday, March 23

Teachers may register for one or both days. 

       Saturday - Teachers may choose to register for

  • the full day - observe students until 3:15 Inter/Adv refresher class with liaison Terry Butkovich - followed by our annual spring meeting for all ECC member teachers and informal meal
  • the 3:15 Inter/Adv refresher class with liaison Terry Butkovich, followed by meeting and informal meal

       Sunday - see Schedule on home page

  • 9:00-10:30  observe student classes
  • 10:45-12:15 PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique conditioning system)
  • Bring own lunch and drinks.
  • 1:00-4:00 Syllabus Refresher (one class will deal with how to get a student ready for pointe work;  the other TBD--requests welcome!)
